Only pay for what you actually automate
With Zapier, you only pay when we perform an action. Make charges you every time you look to see if new data is available.
Pay for action, not polling
Zapier never charges you to check for new data—Make does.
Say you want an automated workflow to check—or poll—your Dropbox account every five minutes for new files. Then, if a new file appears, the workflow will send you a Slack message.
In Make, that would cost you more than 8,000 operations per month just to check—even if there aren't any new files. And that operations count doesn't even include sending any Slack messages.
Zapier won't charge you just for checking to do something—we'll only charge you if we complete something.
